2011 - Inception

Started from a single owned property in Gurgaon (Gurugram), inspired by the vision and values of Late Col. Jugvir Singh. Mrs. Madhu Singh led operations full-time, with Kunal and Shaurya contributing to the early growth. The Sector 40 property featured 7 fully serviced apartments and became the foundation for building Perch’s standards of comfort, functionality, and guest-focused living.

The Perch received several industry awards. After completing a professional Golf career, Mr. Shaurya Singh pursued his master’s degree from the Indian School of Business, while Kunal continued his banking career in Singapore.

2012 - Immediate Success

Within a year of launch, The Perch Service Apartments in Gurgaon received several industry awards. After completing a professional Golf career, Mr. Shaurya Singh pursued his master’s degree from the Indian School of Business, while Kunal continued his banking career in Singapore. Perch was also among the first properties in India to list on Airbnb and attracted guests from multiple countries in a short period of time. In 2014, The Perch Arbor line of Corporate Hotels was introduced, with the first property being Perch Arbor Suites – Sushant Lok, which has gone on to win four consecutive Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence awards. The affiliate model enables both aspiring and existing property owners to join the Perch network and benefit from its in-house expertise and resources, including Marketing, SEO, and online sales. The value offering to affiliate properties is straightforward — the company provides complete backend support, including a Property Management System, a booking-enabled website, and a handbook for OTA setup. This structure helps new properties launch quickly, receive direct monthly queries, and work toward achieving profitability within 8–12 months.

2018 - Launch of Finner PMS & strategic partnerships

After shifting to an advisory role within Perch, Mr. Shaurya Singh co-founded the travel technology SaaS company Finner PMS. The company enables others to build a successful online travel or hotel business by providing the tools needed to optimize online sales, operations, and marketing. It has secured Angel funding and benefits from the guidance of two IIM-A alumni as advisors — Kunal Singh (Co-Founder) and Misal Singh (Investor & Advisor). Today, Finner functions as a full enterprise system used by multiple hotels, PGs, and rental businesses to manage everything from reservations to finance.
